Davin is a chef’s chef, an unsung hero, and a keeper of craft. For more than 20 years, he has been leading the charge in our North County bioregion, bringing no-waste values, sustainable seafood, deep creativity, and a whole lot of punk rock to his cooking in Oceanside and beyond.

Having him at the table with us was a sweet treat.

You could feel Davin in the food. Resourceful, generous, a little wild, and rooted in the place he has helped shape for so many years. The company was good, the conversation was real, and there was a lot of gratitude in the air as this region keeps growing more connected.

That is what Community Table is here for. We gather around food, honor the people doing the work, and keep building relationships across the farm, the kitchen, and the wider community.
